Information on our ‘Infants’ Program

baby Infants At Cornerstone Childcare our caregivers see the same uniqueness in your infant that you do.  They’ll encourage and care for your darling.  See that your little one is nurtured and stimulated through one-on-one creative play, conversation, hugs, holding, reading, and music.

We acknowledge that all infants have needs and feelings.  Yet, no two infants are exactly the same.  Infants look and act differently.  Some infants are born quiet.  They may want to sleep all the time.  Some infants are very active and require very little sleep. Infants learn by exploring.  It is important that they have as many chances to explore and learn as possible.

Our infant classroom is bright and colorful with many places for the little ones to roll, sit, crawl, pull up, and learn to walk.  As they discover new things, our dedicated caregivers are always there to give praise and encouragement.  We want the development and learning experiences at Cornerstone Childcare to be a positive experience for each child.

Our caregivers provide daily interaction that stimulates the physical development, social and emotional development, and intellectual development.  Each caregiver is knowledgeable in the developmental stages of an infant.  Activities are planned for the youngest infant who is just six weeks old to the older infants who are learning to crawl and pull up on the furnishings.

Cornerstone provides a safe, loving environment that stimulates the explorer in every child.  We prepare daily communication for each parent that identifies the activities and care provided to their little one.  The relationships we develop with the infant and parent are key to our success at Cornerstone.  We fully understand that children strive in a warm, loving environment.
