Toddlers are busy finding out new things about themselves and those around them. The toddler age is very important in a child’s life. It is the time between infancy and childhood when a child learns and grows in many ways. Everything that happens to the toddler is meaningful.
With each stage or skill the child masters, a new stage begins. The growth is unique to each child. Children have their own timetable. Toddlers learn to walk, talk, solve problems, relate to others, and more. As they explore their world, they will climb on things, investigate new gadgets, and try to take things apart.
Cornerstone provides a safe, secure environment for your little ones to explore. Our experienced caregivers provide encouragement and guidance as your toddler develops self-confidence. Our teachers create planned activities that strengthen the curiosities of a toddler. It is important that children have the opportunity to explore their world at their own pace.
The interaction with each child is designed for their level of development and interest. Our classrooms are bright, colorful and clean. We developed an environment within the classroom that will provide each child an opportunity for hands-on learning. Every toddler is provided the opportunities to explore the surroundings and encouraged to investigate new experiences. They will be introduced to music and instruments, story reading, and art activities. At the same time, they will be provided hugs and cuddles.
We understand that children strive in a warm, loving environment. Cornerstone will provide you with daily communication that highlights the activities and care provided to your toddler. This allows the parent an opportunity to talk with their toddler about their day. We realize that the partnership we have with the parents contributes to the success of our program.
